Starters4Communities, Impact HUB and partners host this community for young people who want to kick-start or advance an impact driven career. It enables, inspires and connects young people to start their own social enterprise, take on social challenges together or find work with impact driven employers.

The community provides inspiration, networks, problem solving power, a testing stage, workshops, matching events and more! There are sessions at the Impact HUB Amsterdam on the second Tuesday of every month.

The theme of this Young Changemakers Community event is “Money Minded Impact”. Sales and making money do not go together with impact making and honest intentions. At least – that is a common perception many (young) changemakers share. On the other hand, most will agree that to make and scale a sustainable social business – money is a necessity. So how can we become more money minded to scale our impact?!

Workshop Money and Impact – Knowmads
Through a co-creation session we will explore the phenomenon of money and play with our mindset, remove the fear and get creative. We will be working around the questions: WTF is money and what does it mean to you? Is there more than ONE definition? Do we need money to change the world? And how can we get money and impact to go hand in hand?

Inspire
We start the event with inspiring stories from established social entrepreneurs. They will reflect on the goals, successes and pitfalls of making impact and doing business.

#Educate
Following the presentations we continue with the Money Minded Impact Workshop. During the workshop you will learn that doing something good for the world can go hand in hand with making money.

#Connect
We end the evening with drinks and reflect on the lessons learned.
